Inverness, Florida -- Beginning May 6th curbside recycling will be provided for residential customers. 

This service, as well as the two receptacles, one for household waste and one for recycling materials, will be provided at no additional charge. 

Individual packets providing pick up days and frequently asked questions will be delivered to residences within the next few weeks, as will the receptacles. 

Inverness, Florida-- The Taste of Inverness is coming up.  It's taking place Saturday, April 13. 

Attendees will experience signature dishes of city restaurants, while enjoying live music, art, auction and more.

Tallahassee, Florida -- In honor of National Volunteer Month, the Florida Parks Service hosted its annual volunteer appreciation picnics in each of the five state park regions to recognize the invaluable contribution volunteers have made to their parks.

Over 7,600 regular service volunteers regularly commit to working in state parks assisting in things including staffing a ranger station, driving a tour boat or supporting land management activities. Last year, the Florida DEP says volunteers contributed nearly 1.4 million hours to the state park system.
