BOCC accepting Enterprise Zone Development Agency applications | Business
Citrus County, Florida-- The Enterprise Zone Development Agency is currently accepting applications for nine positions. The agency was formed on December of 2012. Florida State Statute 290.0056(2) requires the governing body appoint a board of commissioners of the agency. The agency will require a varied interest of persons to discuss, review, and decide on specific items and will consist of nine positions.
Vacancies on the Enterprise Zone Development Agency to represent the following entities for a four (4) year term that will expire on April 30, 2017:
- Local Chamber of Commerce
- Local Code Enforcement Agency
- Local Law Enforcement Agency
- Local Economic Development Council
Vacancies on the Enterprise Zone Development Agency to represent the following entities for a three (3) year term that will expire on April 30, 2016:
- Local or Regional Workforce Board
- Nonprofit community based organization
Vacancies on the Enterprise Zone Development Agency to represent the following entities for a two (2) year term that will expire on April 30, 2015:
- Local Business operating within the nominated area
- Local financial or insurance entities
Vacancy on the Enterprise Zone Development Agency to represent the following entity for a one (1) year term that will expire on April 30, 2014:
- Local Resident living within the nominated area
