Inverness, FL-- Do you have any gowns stored away in your closet? Just hanging there, waiting to be donned at another extravagant event?

If so, consider donating it to Cinderella's Closet, an organization that collects dresses, and the accessories to be worn with then, for underprivileged high-schoolers on the search for the perfect prom dress.

According to the City of Inverness website, the 6th annual Citrus Cinderella's Closet will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Inverness.

They are accepting donations of dresses, shoes, jewelry, hair accessories, mirrors, new make-up, nail polish/accessories, alteration services and refreshments for the day of the event. Especially needed are gowns sizes 20 & up and rhinestone jewelry.

Items can be dropped off at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1005 Hillside Court, Inverness.
