“Orange Avenue” Intersection Improvements in Floral City | Events

Floral City, FL-- The Engineering Division of Citrus County Department of Public Works and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 7, will be holding an informational meeting on February 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Floral City Library, 8360 E. Orange Avenue, Floral City, Florida. 

The meeting will be to discuss the upcoming U.S. 41 resurfacing project, which includes plans to resurface the two-lane undivided roadway, drainage improvements; and improvements to the C.R. 48 intersection which includes a left turn lane and upgrading of pedestrian safety features. 

Staff will present the proposed design, as well as construction scheduling and will invite input and questions from concerned citizens. Maps of the proposed project will be on display.  

The County encourages you to attend the meeting, so that any concerns you might have with regard to the proposed construction can be addressed.
