Boil Water Notice issued in Citrus Springs Area

Citrus County, Florida-- A precautionary Boil Water Notice has been put into affect because of a main line leak on N Pocono Dr. in Citrus Spring, the Board of County Commissioners announced Monday.

According to BOCC reps, the line specifically services homes between 7889 and 8225, N Pocono Dr. The loss of pressure in the distribution system could impact the bacteriological quality of the water, and in turn make it unsafe for consumption and cooking before boiling.
